I am an Assistant Professor at the Institute for National Security and Military Studies at Austin Peay State University. I received my Ph.D. in International Relations and Comparative Politics at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.

My research is focused on Civil-Military Relations. Specifically, I concentrate on the interactions and communications by and between the government, the public, and the military, and the consequences of such interactions on society, the state, and international security.
